Patching

Have an area bigger than the typical pothole that needs repaired? Patching can give new life to asphalt where there are large chunks missing or there are more major repairs needed.

Asphalt Overlay

Time and weather will eventually wear down asphalt. While proper and timely maintenance will slow breakdown, the time will come where potholes and patching repairs are not enough. Asphalt overlay is a great solution when you need major repairs and renovations but don’t want to go with an expensive complete removal and replacement. When you choose to go with an asphalt overlay the surface is paved over with a new layer of hotmix asphalt material. This mixture is then applied and pressed down by an asphalt paving machine. We use SS-1h between the two layers as it is very important to fuse the two layers together.

Asphalt Milling & Replacement

In some cases, severe damage may occur leading to structural damage to your pavement.  This could be in part to deep cracks that were never repaired, roots from trees tearing into the base level, or even shifting surface soil over the years. When the base level is damaged the most effective way to repair the asphalt is to actually remove and replace the critically damaged area by way of milling and replacing with new asphalt. First we’ll use a milling machine to remove the damaged asphalt and its base, next we reconstruct the substrate, and finally we lay completely new asphalt.
